If your phone will not recognize your new SIM card, try resetting the phone with your new SIM card installed. To reset your phone, just go to Apps > Settings > General management > Reset > Factory Data Reset and select “Reset device”.

Once this is done, you should find that your phone is ready to activate with your new SIM card.
