SIM card activation issues (Marshmallow)

If your phone will not recognize your new SIM card, try resetting the phone with your new SIM card installed. To reset your phone, just go to Apps > Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory Data Reset and select “Reset phone”.

Once this is done, you should find that your phone is ready to activate with your new SIM card.
