Stories From Around the Web: March 28th – April 4th, 2014
This week, we were practically giddy over being featured on MobileSyrup. And then things got really incredible: Boy Genius Report called us the only app you’ll need when the iPhone 6 launches. This story was later picked up by Yahoo! News. With excitement from the spotlight and adrenaline after surviving the comments section, we are moving forward with a little extra steam.
In other news, we are really happy that BuzzFeed has focused its unparalleled list-making talent on talking about iPhones. They make information as easily digestible as baby food, technology related things being no exception. They recently provided a list to help users prolong their phone’s batteries, and they have also talked about the other little-known things your phone could do.
Having your finger on the pulse of iPhone news this week was a strange experience, given that apparently no corner of the internet is safe from April Fools pranks. We admit that we fell (hard) for iFixit’s press release that announced that they had been bought by Apple. Being big fans of iFixit’s commitment to empowering iPhone users, we were sad to see them go. Luckily, it’s all part of the roller coaster of emotions that comes with April Fools.
Last but not least, Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference dates were announced this week. We are bracing ourselves for the full-on iPhone 6 and iOS speculation, rumors, and blind guesses that are sure to come.
